2000 British GT Championship
Sumpter debuts in British GT Championship.
The move into GT racing came in 2000 and was an immediate success as Mark Sumpter clinched the British GTO title in a Porsche 911GT3R winning seven out of twelve races. 2000 was the first production year of the Porsche GT3R, so it was fantastic to win the championship with such dominance.
