Porsche Cayman

The Cayman is a coupé based on the second generation of Porsche Boxster, with the same mid-engined layout but presented with revised styling and a 'hard top' roof.  

It was, like the Boxster, an immediate critical success upon launch winning several major awards.  Performance is superb and approaches that of the Porsche 911 is some variants of the Cayman. 

The mid-engined layout and weight distribution offers superb driving characteristics similar to the Boxster, which is itself a stunning drive. Increased power is offered in the Cayman 'S' version, with a 0-60mph time of 5.1s and a top speed of 171mph from the 3.4 litre flat six engine.  

The second generation of the Cayman was released in February 2009, with increases in engine displacement and horsepower for both models.
